Stephen Harrod Buhner was an American herbalist and writer.

Buhner's concoctions have also been marketed by alternative practitioners as a cure for Covid-19.^[1]^[2] One of these received a written warning from the FDA in 2020 for making such claims.^[3]^[4]

His book, The Lost Language of Plants, received a Nautilus and BBC Environmental Book of the Year Award.
