Sona Valikhan (Azerbaijani: Sona Vəlixan; June 19, 1883 – April 4, 1982), was an Azerbaijani Soviet ophthalmologist, doctor of medical sciences, professor, Honored Scientist of Azerbaijan SSR (1942), and the first Azerbaijani woman to receive a medical degree. She played an important role in the development of Azerbaijani ophthalmology.[1]
