Shamsher Singh Surjewala (24 March 1932 – 20 January 2020) was an Indian lawyer and politician from Haryana belonging to Indian National Congress. He was a member of the Rajya Sabha and Haryana Legislative Assembly. He also served as the president of the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, minister of the Government of Haryana and the leader of the opposition in the Haryana Legislative Assembly. He was the father of Randeep Singh Surjewala.[1]
