It will traverse the India-Nepal border and distinguish itself with the addition of an airstrip for emergency jet landings, enhancing regional security. Notably, the upcoming Ganga Expressway, spanning 594 km, is planned to intersect the Gorakhpur-Shamli Expressway, bringing benefits to rural areas and cities along the Ganga in Uttar Pradesh.[1]
