Serhiy Viktorovych Zhadan (Ukrainian: Сергі́й Ві́кторович Жада́н; born 23 August 1974 in Starobilsk, Luhansk oblast, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian poet, novelist, essayist, musician, translator, and social activist. Early June 2024 Zhadan posted on his Facebook page that he had joined the 13th "Khartia" Brigade [wikidata] of the National Guard of Ukraine which has been in active combat.[1][2]
