Serge Strosberg (born October 1966) is a Belgian painter based in New York City. He primarily paints oil portraits and cityscapes.
Strosberg was born in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1966. He studied art in Paris under Peter Knapp and Jean-Paul Goude. After graduating, he wrote and illustrated a children's book about Charles Darwin called ''In the Kingdom of Dragons''.
Strosberg's early influences were German Expressionism and the School of London painters. His portraits have been exhibited internationally, including at the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam and the Felix Nussbaum House in Osnabrück, Germany.
Since moving to New York City in 2008, Strosberg's work has focused on the city's nightlife and fashion models. His New York series "Les Demoiselles" depicts fashion models in a contemporary reinterpretation of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Strosberg's exhibitions include "Of Men and Flowers" at the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens in West Palm Beach (2009), "The Expressionist of Fashion" in Brussels (2012), and "SoHo's Muses" in New York (2012). His work has been featured at Scope Miami, the LA Art Show, and the Affordable Art Fair in London.
