Samuel Drewe (1759–1837) of Kensington in Middlesex, was Governor of the Bank of England from 1828 to 1830. He had been Deputy Governor from 1826 to 1828. He replaced John Baker Richards as Governor and was succeeded by John Horsley Palmer.[2]
