Salawat Yulayev (Bashkir: Салауат Юлай-улы, romanized: Salauat Yulay-ulı; Russian: Салават Юлаев, romanized: Salavat Yulayev; 16 June 1756 – 8 October 1800)[1] was a Bashkir national hero who helped lead the Pugachev's Rebellion. He was also a poet and singer.
