Saint Paul Central High School is the oldest continuously operating high school in the state of Minnesota, United States.[3] Founded in 1866 in downtown Saint Paul, Central has educated many leaders in business, government, literature, arts, sciences, and education throughout the state of Minnesota and the United States.

It is also one of the biggest high schools in the state and, as of 2011, the second-largest in the city of Saint Paul, after Harding Senior High School on the east side of the city.[4] It is also a national Blue Ribbon School.[5]
