Ruth Taiko Watanabe (May 12, 1916 – February 26, 2005)[1] was a Japanese-American music librarian. For 38 years (1946-1984), she ran the Sibley Music Library at the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester.
She was called "one of the great music librarians of the twentieth century."[2]
