Russell Francis "Rusty" Chambers (November 10, 1953 – July 1, 1981) was an American football linebacker. He played for the Tulane Green Wave in college and professionally for the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). Chambers led the Dolphins in tackles for two consecutive years. His career was cut short at the age of 27 when he died in a car accident on July 1, 1981.[1]
