Rongomaiwahine information


Rongomaiwahine was a Māori chieftainess and chief ancestress of the Ngāti Rongomaiwahine, Ngāti Kahungunu, and Te Aitanga-a-Māhaki iwi. She lived on the Māhia Peninsula, probably in the late fifteenth century.[1]
