Rivotorto is a frazione of the comune of Assisi in the Province of Perugia, Umbria, central Italy. It stands at an elevation of 211 m (692 ft) above sea level. At the time of the Istat census of 2001 it had 1284 inhabitants.[1] The name comes from a small river that flows through the frazione. In the Umbrian dialect, rivo means 'stream'.
