He is a two-time golden boot winner, having won the award whilst at River Plate and most recently at Nacional in Uruguay's Primera División. Born in Australia, he represented the Uruguay U20 national team at international level. His nickname is "El Canguro", which means "The Kangaroo" in Spanish.
