Ravansar (Persian: روانسر and Kurdish: ڕوانسەر), also Romanized as Ravānsar and Rawānsīr,[3] is a city in the Central District of Ravansar County, Kermanshah province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 16,383 in 3,838 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 21,250 people in 5,609 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 24,527 people in 7,122 households.[2]
