Python for S60, also called PyS60—a term reminiscent of the Unix naming convention— is a port of the Python programming language developed by Nokia for its S60 software platform, originally based on Python 2.2.2 from 2002.[1]
The final version, PyS60-2.0.0, was released on 11 February 2010, it came with multiple improvements, most notable of which was an update to a new core based off of Python 2.5.4.[2]
