Established in 1905 the Public Schools Association, or the PSA, is an association of seven independent boys schools in Perth, Western Australia. The descriptor 'public school' references the historical usage of the term and the model of the British public school. The schools compete against each other in athletic competition throughout the year. There are three main events held annually; the Head of the River rowing regatta, The Interschool Athletics Carnival, and the Interschool Swimming Carnival.[1]
