Prova Chakma (born 1975) is an Indian politician in the Mizoram Legislative Assembly. She is currently serving as an MLA from West Tuipui constituency of Lunglei district.[1][2][3]
She is elected as the MLA in the 2023 Mizoram Legislative Assembly Elections representing Mizo National Front party defeating sitting MLA[4] Nihar Kanti Chakma of Congress by 711 votes.[5][6][7] Only three women, including Chakma, were elected as MLAs in 2023.[8][9][10]
