Peter Tillemans (c. 1684 – 5 December 1734)[1] was a Flemish painter, best known for his works on sporting and topographical subjects. Alongside John Wootton and James Seymour, Tillemans was one of the founders of the English school of sporting painting.

Tillemans died in England in 1734, residing there since 1708.
