Peter Paul Reckell (born May 7, 1955) is an American actor. He is best known for playing the iconic hero Bo Brady, a role he originated in 1983 on the NBC drama Days of Our Lives.
Reckell has played Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives for over 5 decades from 1983 to 1987, 1990 to 1992, 1995 to 2012, and returned in fall 2015 as a lead up to the 50th anniversary of the show. In 2022 he appeared on Peacock’s Beyond Salem 2. In 2023 he returned to Days of Our Lives for a short-term story. [1] Other notable credits include Eric Hollister on As the World Turns (1980–1982) and Johnny Rourke on Knots Landing (1988–1989).
