Peninsula Gas Utilisation information

The Peninsular Gas Utilization (PGU) is the longest pipeline in Malaysia. The 2,623-kilometer-pipeline connects the Kerteh refinery in Terengganu to other areas of peninsula Malaysia. It is owned and operated by Petronas Gas Berhad on behalf of its holding company Petronas.

The purpose of the pipeline is to supply gas to natural gas vehicle refueling outlets in urban areas.[1] It is also used to carry processed natural gas to the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore,[2] with the latter sent to Senoko Power Station.[3]
