Sir Patrick John Rushton Sergeant (born 17 March 1924) is a British journalist, investor and businessman who was long the City Editor of the Daily Mail and later the founder of Euromoney Institutional Investor.[1]
He was a director of Daily Mail and General Trust Plc from before 1992 to 2004, taking Euromoney directorships in the 1990s.[2] In 2018, he announced his retirement from the board of Euromoney.[3]
He is father of the British artist Emma Sergeant.[4]
