Parul Sehgal (born c. 1981)[1] is an American literary critic. She was senior editor and columnist at The New York Times Book Review, and in 2017 became one of its team of book critics. As of December 2021, she is a staff writer at The New Yorker.[2] She also teaches in the graduate creative writing program at New York University.[2]
