Panhtwar (Burmese: ပန်ထွာ) was the legendary queen regnant of Beikthano, the ancient city of the Pyu Kingdom. She was considered to be a strong, spiritual lady of war and fame.[1][2] Queen Panhtwar became a heroine figure in Burmese culture, gracing the bedtime stories of Burmese children since their early years.[3]
