The Palatine Court of Durham Act 1889 (52 & 53 Vict c 47) was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was one of the Durham County Palatine Acts 1836 to 1889.[2] The Bill for this Act was the Palatine Court of Durham Bill.[3] Lely said that this Act was of practical utility.[4]
^The citation of this Act by this short title was authorised by section 12 of this Act. Due to the repeal of that enactment, it is now authorised by section 19(2) of the Interpretation Act 1978.
