Osman Agha Gulmammadov - (August 16, 1892, Yuxari Salakhli, Qazakh district – November 1, 1950, Kars, Kars province) was an officer of the Russian Empire and the Azerbaijan Republic, as well as a colonel in the Turkish Armed Forces.
He participated in the First World War, the Battle of Baku, the Battle of Gokchay, the Karabakh uprising against the April occupation, and the Turkish War of Independence.
For his heroism during the First World War, he was awarded the second, third, and fourth class St. George's Crosses, as well as the second, third, and fourth class St. George's Medals. He was also awarded Order of the Medjidie for his bravery in the Battle of Baku and the Medal of Independence for his heroism in the Turkish War of Independence.
