The Oshkosh Alpha is a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle created by Oshkosh Corporation together with Protected Vehicles Incorporated (PVI).[3] It is considered as a Category I MRAP vehicle.[3]
The Alpha was marketed to eventually phase out the use of the Humvee.[4]
