Ngataiharuru Taepa (born 1976 in Upper Hutt) is a New Zealand artist and academic of Māori (Te Ati Awa, Te Arawa) and Pākehā descent.[1] Taepa's art often explores traditional kōwhaiwhai (rafter painting) forms.
