New Braunfels National Airport (ICAO: KBAZ, FAA LID: BAZ) is a public use airport in Guadalupe County, Texas, United States.[1][2] It is owned by the city of New Braunfels and located four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) east of its central business district.[1] Formerly known as New Braunfels Regional Airport,[3] it is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.[4]

Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this airport is assigned BAZ by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA[5] (which assigned BAZ to Barcelos Airport in Barcelos, Amazonas, Brazil).[6]

From 1940 to 1967, it operated as Clear Springs Air Force Base.
