Neart Na Gaoithe ("strength of the wind" in Gaelic, pronounced[ˈɲarʃdnəgɤ.jə]) is an offshore wind farm under construction in the outer Firth of Forth, 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of Torness. It has a potential capacity of 450 MW. It is being developed by EDF Renewables and ESB. Offshore work began in 2020, with completion originally planned for 2023 but delayed due to supply chain challenges until 2024.
