Nahla Mahmoud (born 1986/7)[1] is a Sudanese-born British writer, ex-Muslim, secularist, environmentalist,[2] and human rights activist,[2][3] and spokesperson for the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain.[4] She's known for being vocal against religious extremism; advocating free-speech, LGBT rights,[5] and awareness on climate change . She fled to the United Kingdom in 2010.[1][2]
