Phyllis Muriel Frances Reiger (24 March 1912 – 16 January 1935) was an Australian woman who was murdered by her former boyfriend, 42-year-old John Thomas "Jack" McQuade in Rockhampton, Queensland in the early hours of 16 January 1935.[3]
The murder and the subsequent trial attracted considerable attention from the press.[4][5][6][7]
