Momordicoside information

Momordicoside is any of several related cucurbitane triterpenoid glycosides that can be extracted from the bitter melon vine (Momordica charantia).[1][2][3][4] They include:

  • Momordicoside A[2][4]
  • Momordicoside B[2]
  • momordicoside F1[1]
  • momordicoside F2[1]
  • Momordicoside K[2][3]
  • Momordicoside L[2][3]
  • Momordicoside M[2][4]
  • Momordicoside N[2][4]
  • Momordicoside S[2]

Momordicosides A, B, F1, F2 K–N, and S can be extracted from the fruit with methanol.[1][2][4]
