Mohsen Tanabandeh (Persian: محسن تنابنده; born April 15, 1975) is an Iranian actor, director and screenwriter. In 2022, he won the Orizzonti Award for Best Actor at the 79th Venice International Film Festival for his performance in World War III (2022). He has received various accolades, including three Crystal Simorgh and four Hafez Awards.
Tanabandeh is famous for playing the role of Naghi Mamoli in the television series Paytakht (2011-2020). He was the creator and head writer of this series and won three Hafez Awards for his performance and screenplay.
