Ayatollah Mohammad Mahdi Shamseddine (Arabic: محمد مهدي شمس الدين) was a Lebanese Twelver Shia scholar.[1] Shahid Awwal who was known as Shamseddine, sun of the faith, was ancestor of Muhammad Mahdi.[2]
