Megan MitchellAM (born 1958 or 1959)[1] is an Australian public servant and children's advocate who served as the first Australian National Children's Commissioner (within the Australian Human Rights Commission) from 25 February 2013 to 24 March 2020.[2] She previously held the role of New South Wales Commissioner for Children and Young People between 2010 and 2013.[2]
