Meer Mustahsan 'Khaleeq' (1766–1844) (Urdu: میر مستحسن خلیق) was an 18th century Urdu poet.[1] Khaleeq belonged to a family of Urdu poets who specialised in writing elegies or marsiyas. Khaleeq was the son of Meer Hasan, and the father of Meer 'Anees', who is considered to be a virtuoso of the marsiya genre.[2]
