Marie Schmidt (born Marie Kuhn; 10 February 1895 – 14 June 1971) was a German political activist and politician. (KPD). During the politically dead-locked period directly before the Hitler government took power in Berlin she became a Communist member of the parliament ("Landtag") of the People's State of Hesse ("Volksstaat Hessen").[1]
