Mangal Singh Ramgarhia CSI (1800–1879) was a prominent Sikh leader, a Sardar, who participated in the first and second Anglo-Sikh wars. Later, he was appointed manager of the Golden Temple of Amritsar.[1]
He carried the title of "Sardar-i-Bawaqar" (the Sardar with Prestige).[citation needed]
