Malayogom (transl. Wedding fortune), or Maalayogam is a 1990 Indian Malayalam-language family comedy-drama film directed by Sibi Malayil and written by A. K. Lohithadas, starring Jayaram, Mukesh, Parvathy and Chithra. Written by A. K. Lohithadas,[1] the film discuss about the issues of unemployment[2] and the women who get victimised for the societal obsession with the dowry system.[3]
