Lower Normandy (French: Basse-Normandie, IPA:[bɑsnɔʁmɑ̃di,bas-]ⓘ; Norman: Basse-Normaundie) is a former administrative region of France. On 1 January 2016, Lower and Upper Normandy merged becoming one region called Normandy.[2]
