Zamindars of Krishna district hold an important place in the history of Madras Presidency. Krishna district holds some huge Zamindari estates like Nuzvid Estate, Chintalapati Vantu, Devarakota, Repalle, Vallur etc. which are both extensive and wealthy estates.[1][2]
