There are approximately 2.7 million conversions to Christianity every year, according to the World Christian Encyclopedia.[1]
According to various scholars and sources Pentecostalism – a Protestant Christian movement – is the fastest growing religion in the world,[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] this growth is primarily due to religious conversion.[11][12]
According to 2015 Believers in Christ from a Muslim Background": A Global Census study published by Baylor University institute for studies of religion, it estimates that 10.2 million Muslims converted to Christianity.[13]
Due primarily to conversion, Christianity has grown in South Korea from 2.0% in 1945[14] to 29.3% in 2010[15]
Protestantism continues to experience steady growth as a result of conversion in Asia,[14][16][17][18][19] Latin America,[16][20][21] the Muslim world,[13] and Oceania.
