^Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.
Gwyneth Paltrow is an American actress and singer who has received various awards and nominations, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Paltrow rose to international fame with her portrayal of Viola de Lesseps in the romantic period comedy-drama film Shakespeare in Love (1998),[1] which earned her many accolades, including the Academy Award for Best Actress, as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy, the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress, and a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
