This list comprises State Protected Monuments officially reported by and available through the website of the Archaeological Survey of India in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.[1] The monument identifier is a combination of the subdivision abbreviation (state, ASI circle) and the numbering as published on the ASI website. The ASI has recognized 86 State Protected Monuments in Tamil Nadu.[2] Additionally, the Monuments of National Importance in this state may also be of relevance.
