This is a list of notable people from the San Francisco Art Institute (1871–2022);[1] which was formerly known as the California School of Design (1871–1915, or CSD), and California School of Fine Arts (1916–1960, or CSFA). It was also sometimes refer to as the Mark Hopkins Institute of Art (c. 1893–1906), for a building the school had occupied.
