List of Mexican military installations information
Mexican military installations are operated by the country's two primary defense institutions, the Department of Defense (Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional) (SEDENA) and the Department of the Navy (Secretaría de Marina) (SEMAR). While SEDENA is responsible for the Mexican Army (Ejército Mexicano) and the Mexican Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Mexicana), SEMAR is responsible for the Mexican Navy (Armada de México). Additionally, the creation of the National Guard (Guardia Nacional) in recent years represents a collaboration between SEDENA, SEMAR, and the Department of Security and Civilian Protection.
