List of Colombian submissions for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film information
Colombia has submitted films for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film[nb 1] since 1980. The award is handed out annually by the United States Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to a feature-length motion picture produced outside the United States that contains primarily non-English dialogue.[3]
The Colombian submission is decided annually by the Consejo Nacional de Cinematografía, a branch of the Colombian Ministry of Culture.[4] As of 2021[update], Colombia has entered the competition 30 times, and has been nominated once for an Academy Award.
