Leslie Sheard (born c. 1945) is an English former rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s, and coached rugby league in the 1980s. He played club level rugby union (RU) for Wakefield RFC,[4] and representative level rugby league (RL) for England and Yorkshire, and at club level for Castleford (Heritage No. 539),[5][6][7] Wakefield Trinity (Heritage No. 777), York (captain), and Huddersfield, as a fullback, or centre, i.e. number 1, or, 2 or 5, and coached club level rugby league for Huddersfield.
