Leighton James (16 February 1953 – 19 April 2024) was a Welsh professional footballer who played as a winger for Burnley, Derby County, Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City, Sunderland, Bury, Newport County and Wales.[2] He was also the manager of Gainsborough Trinity, Morecambe, Netherfield, Ilkeston Town, Accrington Stanley,Llanelli, Garden Village, Aberaman Athletic and Haverfordwest County
